AN ELEGANT WEDDING – CEGIELNIA RZUCEWO

The story of the couple I’ll be introducing to you today started at the beginning of a very sunny August in northern Poland. I’ve met Monika and Sebastian a year earlier, at Monika’s sister’s wedding. That day they’d both whispered into my ear that they were getting married themselves, and quite soon. It was to take place in Cegielnia Rzucewo, and they wanted me to be their photographer! It was excellent news for me. I knew right then that it would be special, and I was right. The Cegielnia’s building was constructed around the XVIII century and has since been remade into a ballroom. Its location – surrounded by nature and close to the sea – gives the Cegielnia a very warm feel to it. This place is perfect not just if you want to have a themed wedding, but also if your wish is an outside wedding overlooking the sea. Believe you me, the photos shoot themselves there.

AN OUTSIDE WEDDING IN THE CEGIELNIA

The bride’s and groom’s preparations took place in the River Style hotel near the bay of Puck, where both wedding and reception took place. The lovely weather allowed us to go and take a lot of photos outside, including of Monika and her seven amazing bridesmaids. After that it was just how I like it, i.e. with no rush and no paying attention to the passing time. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful scenario. An outside wedding overlooking the sea, surrounded by friends and family. The bride was walked to the altar by her father, soft music in the background, and, the pièce de résistance – the newlyweds’ vows. Just wow. I have to come clean – during the vows, I got a bit misty eyed, and I felt as if my whole being was enveloped in warmth. Light pink was the color of the day – their matching outfits and the details – the dresses, the bouquets, the bow ties, even the socks. There were speeches, a ton of emotions, funny anecdotes and thanks given all around. Monika and Sebastian agreed to every single one of my ideas; thanks to that we managed to get the most out of the day. We had mini-sessions outside, before sunset and during dusk. There were dances and goofing off on the dance floor, but there were also conversations on the patio or a cigar smoked among gentlemen. I forgot to mention that most of the photos below are all thanks to the irreplaceable wedding planner – Event by Ev.

Monika and Sebastian, thank you for much for choosing us, “in re fotografia” to capture the brilliant event that was your Big Day, the most important day in your life together!
